A Good Time To Be Had By All........At our February's Game

What a time, what a time!!!  Girl, you had to be there!!!!  If you're
wondering where, I'll tell you?...at the Pokeno Game on Saturday, February
24th at Sheila's house in Silver Spring.   Let me tell you, our hostess,
Sheila knows how to throw down and put us all to shame!   As always, the
door was open and the aroma of a quaint French Quarter restaurant met you
as you passed the threshold.  Music of the Mardi Gras invited you to
descend to the lower level where souvenirs awaited your arrival to be
claimed only for the spicy scent of  Louisiana Gumbo to beckon you back up
the stairs.  Not to be outdone, the fried catfish was equally savory.

Once we regained our sense of reason after such delectable delights, the
game began.  The level of excitement was intensified by the presence of
newcomers, Harriet and April, as well as the return of regulars who have
had to miss some games.  In total, there were seventeen in attendance and
sixteen players.  Monique's friend, Dionne, preferred to watch and learn.
The Kitty had reached $120.00 before being exhaustively claimed by
co-winners Emily and our hostess, Sheila!!!  It was an intensely emotional
moment.  All were delighted with their winnings and acquisitions, as well
as the sisterhood shared by all.
